# Genesis Tokens

***Genesis Tokens*** provide holders with a proportional share of rewards tied to the intellectual property of the character that they belong to. There will be 2,500 *Genesis Characters* and 2,500 *Genesis Tokens* initially available for each character. *Genesis Tokens* cannot be purchased directly from GG DAO and may only be obtained by minting a *Genesis Character* NFT or purchasing one from a secondary P2P market. Any remaining *Genesis Token* and/or *Genesis Character* supply may be burned if they do not sell out in a timely manner in order to retain rewards & delegatory power for early minters.
