# Characters

***Characters*** are access passes to play games that feature their respective characters. These tokens can then be altered with potions to change the appearance of the NFT as well as the characters’ in-game appearance.

When a new character is introduced into the GG DAO ecosystem, the NFT will be classified as a "***Genesis Character***". For each Character NFT minted during a *Genesis Character* drop, a "***Genesis Token***" NFT specific to that character will be airdropped to the wallet that minted the character. Any additional iterations of a character that are released after the initial *Genesis Drop* of that character will be known as a “***Subsequent Drop***”. *Subsequent Drop* supply, price, & availability will be decided by vote only if approved by a majority of holders of that character's Genesis Token.
